On December 18, 2025, Zhandilda Zhakupov, Head of the International Human Rights Center, took part in the Republican Conference “Kazakhstan — a Guarantee of Peace and Unity,” held in celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan.
The event brought together representatives of ethnocultural associations, public figures, and experts working in the field of strengthening interethnic harmony and civic unity. During the conference, participants discussed the results of three decades of the Assembly’s activities, its role in maintaining social stability, developing a culture of dialogue, and preventing conflicts.
Speaking at the conference, Zhandilda Zhakupov emphasized the particular importance of ethno-mediation as an effective tool for the prevention and peaceful resolution of interethnic disputes, highlighting its role in building trust, mutual respect, and sustainable social cohesion.
The conference was organized by ethnocultural associations of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan of the Republic of Kazakhstan and served as a platform for exchanging experiences, initiatives, and best practices in the fields of peace, harmony, and mutual respect within a multinational society.
