On October 20, 2025, the heads of mediation centers — Yakup Erikel (Turkey), Zhandilda Zhakupov (Kazakhstan), and Avazbek Shamsheev (Kyrgyzstan) — delivered guest lectures at the Faculty of Law of L. N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University.

The speakers presented the specifics of mediation development in their countries, shared practical tools used by mediators, and outlined the key responsibilities of professionals in the field of dispute resolution.

During the lectures, students were provided with information on who can act as a mediator, in which cases one seeks a mediator, and how to obtain mediator qualifications while combining it with a legal career.

The event was organized at the initiative of the ENU Ombudsperson, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Nely Lukpanovna Shapekova.
