On October 25, 2025, at the invitation of the Kyrgyz National University named after Zh. Balasagyn, the Head of the International Human Rights Center (IHRC) Zhandilda Zhakupov and IHRC Coordinator Aida Zamanbekova attended a ceremonial event dedicated to the university’s 100th anniversary in Bishkek. During the ceremony, the Administration of the President of Kyrgyzstan presented the rector of KNU with the state order “Manas.”

Following the event, the heads of mediation centers — Zhandilda Zhakupov (Kazakhstan), Diyorbek Kimsanov (Uzbekistan), and Chairman of the Association of Mediators of the Turkic World Yakup Erikel (Turkey) — delivered guest lectures on mediation for students of the Faculty of Law. The lectures were held in an interactive format and generated significant interest among the audience.

TDAB Chairman Yakup Erikel invited the students to visit Ankara next year for an event dedicated to mediation.
