A guest lecture by the President of the International Human Rights Center (IPC), Zhandilda Zhakupov, was held at Medipol University in Ankara. The meeting took place in an atmosphere of open dialogue — students, faculty, and experts discussed contemporary challenges in the field of human rights and the growing role of mediation in maintaining global peace.
Zhandilda Zhakupov emphasized that mediation is becoming one of the key tools for peaceful dispute resolution — both in international relations and in civil and labor conflicts. According to him, “mediation is the language of peace. Where people are willing to listen and understand one another, there is no place for violence or mistrust.”
During the lecture, students showed great interest in the practical application of mediation, asking questions about mediator training and the prospects for its development in different countries. The lecturer noted that it is young specialists who will be able to introduce a culture of peaceful dialogue into politics, business, and society.
