On October 25, 2025, in honor of Republic Day, the Head of the Branch for the Abai Region, Makat Zhumashevich Shapiev, was presented with a Letter of Appreciation by the Minister of Culture and Information, Aida Balayeva.

In the letter, the Minister highlighted Makat Zhumashevich’s significant contribution to the development of the country, the strengthening of interethnic harmony, mutual understanding, and cooperation among the peoples of Kazakhstan. Aida Balayeva expressed her gratitude for his work and wished him strong health, family well-being, and further success in serving for the peace and prosperity of the state.

The Letter of Appreciation became recognition of Makat Shapiev’s many years of fruitful work aimed at strengthening cultural unity, social harmony, and the spiritual development of the region.
