On June 2, 2025, the head of the IPC Zhakupov Zhandilda spoke at the International Conference of the Higher School of Judges at the Supreme Judicial Council of the Republic of Uzbekistan. At the event, he spoke about the work of Kazakhstan's conciliation judges, the statistical results of their activities and their interaction with the mediation community. He shared his opinion and vision on the need to develop pre-trial settlement by mediators, the pros and cons of introducing the institution of conciliatory judges, and the specifics of conducting criminal mediation by mediators.
